Doing what we can to stop spam!

Almost all of us hate the unsolicited bulk email that loads up our mailboxes. It's the email you never asked for that offers everything from get-rich-quick schemes to ways to lose weight and quit smoking.

There's no magic formula for putting a stop to it, but we do all we can. We use a Mail Abuse Prevention System that blocks domains and mail servers known for spamming activity. This state-of-the-art filtering system does not stop all spam from reaching our customers, but it does remove much unwanted email before it gets to you.

Some tips for reducing spam:
  • Keep a low profile. Chat rooms, message boards, Internet directories and web pages are prime harvesting sites for spammers. Be careful where you post your email address or use another email address just for posting and online shopping.
  • Share your address carefully. Web sites have wildly varying policies about what they'll do with your address when you register. Read the fine print at each site's privacy policies before you type in your address.
